Description:

The Pre-Veterinary pathway incorporates course requirements for students pursuing admission to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) at the University of Saskatchewan. Each year the WVCM reserves 20 positions for qualified students from Manitoba. Students in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences can pursue a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in parallel with the Pre-Veterinary pathway.?

Prerequisites:

Grade for Entrance Previous Year (%)*70

    High school graduation, including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level.


    A minimum average of 70% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course:

    1. English
    2. Applied Mathematics or Pre-Calculus Mathematics
    3. Two academic senior-level courses
    Test Scores:
    • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
